Love Quote-5

Words however special... could never even start, to tell you all the love I have for you within my heart.

Joke-5 : Any Grapes?

A ducks walks into a bar and asks, "Got any grapes?"
The bartender, confused, tells the ducks that no, his bar doesn't serve grapes.
The duck thanks him and leaves. The next day, the duck returns and says, "Got any grapes?"
Again, the bartender tells him that, no, the bar does not serve grapes, has never served grapes, and furthermore, will never serve grapes. The duck, a little ruffled, thanks him and leaves. The next day, the duck returns, but before he can say anything, the bartender begins to yell, "Listen, duck! This is a bar! We do not serve grapes! If you ever ask for grapes again, I will nail your stupid duck beak to the bar!" The duck is silent for a moment, and then asks, "Got any nails?" Confused, the bartender says no. "Good!" says the duck. "Got any grapes?"

Chips on DVDs could prevent theft

New technology in the form of a chip smaller than the head of a pin will supposedly thwart DVD theft since the discs are unplayable until they're activated at the cash register. A thin coating that blocks a DVD player from reading critical information on the disc must also be added along with the chip, which when activated, sends an electrical pulse through the coating, turning it clear and making the disc playable.

The radio frequency identification chip is made by NXP Semiconductors, based in the Netherlands, and the Radio Frequency Activation technology comes from Kestrel Wireless Incorporated, based in Emeryville. The two companies are talking to Hollywood studios and expect to announce deals this summer, Kestrel Wireless Chief Executive Paul Atkinson said. The companies said their technology also can be used to protect electric shavers, ink jet cartridges, flash memory drives and even flat-screen TV sets by preventing some critical element from functioning unless activated.

Comcast Demonstrates 150-Mbps Modem

At the National Cable and Telecommunications Association meeting in Las Vegas, Comcast has unveiled its future weapon against the competition: a modem three times faster than FiOS. The DOCSIS 3.0 technology ties four cable lines together. The cable modem, developed by the Cable Industry's Cable Television Laboratories, could be available in a few years. It reportedly features a broadband download speed of 150 Mbps – in the Las Vegas demo, a 32-volume copy of the Encyclopedia Britannica and Merriam-Webster's visual dictionary were downloaded in less than four minutes. "If you look at what just happened, 55 million words, 100,000 articles, more than 22,000 pictures, maps, and more than 400 video clips. The same download on dial-up would have taken two weeks

Sun open sources Java

Sun Microsystems has announced the release of an open-source version of its Java Development Kit for Java Platform Standard Edition. Sun has contributed the software to the OpenJDK Community as free software under the GNU GPLv2. Sun also announced that OpenJDK-based implementations can use the JCK (Java SE 6 Technical Compatibility Kit) to establish compatibility with the Java SE 6 specification.

"Less than one year after we announced our intent to release Java technology as open-source software under GPL v2, we have achieved our goal," Rich Green, Sun's executive vice president of software said in a statement.

This announcement represents one of the largest source code contribution to the free software community and the open-source release of one of the industry's most significant and pervasive software platforms, Sun officials said.

OpenBSD has already started importing the release into distribution, as other Linux/BSD platforms are expected to follow.

Sun aims for ultra-cheap cell phones

Call it Sun Microsystems' answer to One Laptop Per Child.

The server and software company hopes to sell a version of Java to phone companies that will bring network access to the world's computers, executives said here at the JavaOne trade show.

"Java will play a central role in bringing the Internet to the planet," Chief Executive Jonathan Schwartz said during a news conference. "It will be the software to build the devices to bridge the digital divide." In a brief speech at the show, Schwartz indicated he believed the Java-powered mobile phones could be sold for $30 to $50 apiece.

That's a notch cheaper than the $100 price the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) initiative hopes to reach in 2008. OLPC began at the MIT Media Lab but now is a separate initiative to build easy-to-use, Linux-powered wirelessly networked devices.

Joke-4 : Try To Explain Women

A man dies and goes to Heaven. He gets to meet GOD and asks GOD if he can ask him a few question.
"Sure," GOD says, "Go right ahead".
"OK," the man says, "Why did you make women so pretty?"
GOD says, "So you would like them".
"OK," the guy says, "But how come you made them so beautiful?"
"So you would LOVE them", GOD replies.
The man ponders a moment and then asks, "But why did you make them such airheads?"
GOD says, "So they would love you!"

Lyrics : Linkin Park - What I've Done

In this farewell,
There’s no blood,
There’s no alibi.
‘Cause I’ve drawn regret,
From the truth,
Of a thousand lies.

So let mercy come,
And wash away…

What I’ve Done.
I’ll face myself,
To cross out what I’ve become.
Erase myself,
And let go of what I’ve done.

Put to rest,
What you thought of me.
While I clean this slate,
With the hands,
Of uncertainty.

So let mercy come,
And wash away…

What I’ve Done.
I’ll face myself,
To cross out what I’ve become.
Erase myself,
And let go of what I’ve done.

For What I’ve Done

I'll start again,
And whatever pain may come.
Today this ends,
I’m forgiving what I’ve done.

I’ll face myself,
To cross out what I’ve become.
Erase myself,
And let go of what I’ve done.
What I’ve done.

Forgiving What I’ve Done.

Love Quote-3

Look around do you see, so many things have changed, and you should know by now... I never meant to hurt you at all... all my life I have been an outcast, but now I've been reborn... and I see things so clear!!!

Joke-3 : Birthday Presents

It was the kindergarten teacher birthday and the students decided that they would each buy their teacher a gift. The first student, whose parents own a florist shop, gave her a present. She held it and said "I guess that it is flowers". "How did you guess?" asked the little boy. She laughed and thanked him.
The second student, whose parents own a candy store, gave her a present. She held it and said, "guess that it is some candy". "How did you guess?" asked the little boy. She again laughed and thanked him also.
The third student, whose parents own a bottle shop, gave her a box which was leaking. The teacher touched the liquid with her finger and tasted it. "Mmmmm is it wine?" she asked. "No," said the little girl. So she tasted it again. "Is it champagne?" she asked. "Noooo," replied the little girl, "It's a puppy."
